Ellipsoid Operable Louvre

Ellipsoid operable louvres are an attractive aluminium bladed and framed louvre for use in situations where adjustments to the level of sun shading, screening, vision and ventilation are required.

Blades can be provided in 75, 100, 150, 175 and 200mm extruded aluminium profiles. Perimeter frames are manufactured using durable aluminium extrusions that are designed to integrate with other standard commercial suites and provide for fixing options to suit most wall or fabricated facade constructions. Perimeter frames can also be designed to slide on track systems to open up previously screened areas and provide unobstructed views.

Blade control linkages are concealed and designed to provide high security and a long operating life.

Applications

Ellipsoid operable louvres are a high quality architectural product that provides adjustable levels of sun shading, screening, vision and ventilation. Durable construction makes this system more suitable than timber construction for use in all locations, including those at altitude, high moisture areas and in cyclonic regions.

Ellipsoid operable louvres are ideal for use in high quality commercial, institutional and residential building projects including schools, sports stadiums, multi-purpose halls, swimming complexes, shopping centres, office buildings and alike.

• Blade (width in mm) - 75, 100, 150, 175 and 200
• Operation - Louvres can be designed to operate using manual lever handle, hand operated overlocking handle, manual winder or electric actuator. If electric actuators are utilised the louvres can be operated by push button controls or linked to building management system to include automatic operations via wind / rain / sun sensors or timers.
• Finish - Standard finishes include clear anodised 20µm and powdercoat in standard available powdercoat colours. Any finish that is suitable for aluminium can be applied including special anodising finishes, extended warranty powdercoat paint and other specialist finishes.

Size

Widths of up to 2500mm can be accommodated for individual bays. Consult AMBP sales engineers in relation to sizes.
