Koolbreeze Fixed Ventilation Louvre
Koolbreeze louvres provide ventilation without the need for mesh for additional vermin or security requirements unlike other fixed louvre products.
Blades are constructed from perforated sheetmetal thereby providing airflow but ensuring a robust and secure panel system. Perforations will protect from large insects, birds and other vermin.
Louvres and blades can be constructed from a variety of base materials depending on finish and aesthetic requirements. Blades can be made from polycarbonate to provide nature light transfer.
Application
Koolbreeze provides an effective means of providing permanent ventilation in a secure walling system. Koolbreeze incorporates panelling, cladding, window surrounds and doors to provide a complete wall system.
Typical uses include factories, warehouses, plant rooms, substations, sports stadiums and secure enclosures where permanent ventilation is required.
Options
- Materials - Frames and Blades can be manufactured in any sheet material including Zincalume steel, Colorbond steel, Galvabond steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium.
- Blades - Can also be provided in opaque polycarbonate being an ideal solution for providing both light and ventilation.
- Finishes - Are dependent on base sheet metal. Aluminium is generally supplied in mill finish powdercoated. Zincalume is generally in natural, powdercoat or special paint finishes. Stainless steel , Colorbond and Polycarbonate require no applied finishes.
Size
Up to 3600 mm wide for individual bays. Overall louvre area can be extended by the use of mullions and transoms. Refer to our sales staff for in relation to design options.
Performance
AS1170 for structural performance.
Airflow - 35% free area in standard configuration. More or less free area can be accommodated if required. Refer to our sales staff for more information.
